چکیده

During the last few years, nuclear energy has received great attention due to increase in climate change awareness. According Paris agreement, global temperature is be kept below 2 °C and preferably 1.5 by 2050. This approach been substantially confirmed recent COP 26 Glasgow. research investigates effects of integrating SMR power plants (small modular reactors) into Nordhaus Dynamic Integrated Climate Economy (DICE) model for reducing CO2 emissions atmosphere substituting all existing fossil-fueled (FPPP). The software based on VENSIM dynamic systems modeling platform. Simulations were carried out from year 2019 2100 using 10-year increments. Several scenarios thus simulated replacing roughly 70,000 FPPPs operating at this time world. indicate a reduction approximately 12.63% relative initial conditions used 87,830 core units 80 MWe electric each meet such demand. DICE further predicts cost damage impacting upper ocean atmospheric temperatures, deep as USD 1.515 trillion (US Dollar; (US) = 1,000,000,000,000 (1 × 1012)) end century. From modified section model, 1.073 predicted toll human health costs. equal 2.59 loss economy.

DSICE: A Dynamic Stochastic Integrated Model of Climate and Economy∗

This paper introduces a dynamic stochastic integrated model of climate and economy (DSICE), and a numerical dynamic programming algorithm for its solution. More specifically, we solve an example with annual time periods, a six hundred year horizon, and shocks to the economic and climate system. Our dynamic programming methods solve such models on a laptop in about an hour, and do so with good a...

Simulation of the climate change impact on monthly runoff of Dez watershed using IHACRES model

Identification and analysis of flow fluctuations in consequences of climate change is one of the most important factors in water resources management planning and this is vital especially in areas where large crowds are engaged in agriculture. Dez watershed, as an agricultural hub in the country, is one of areas that river flow fluctuations caused by climate change can affect a large population...

Estimates of the Damage Costs of Climate Change

Monetised estimates of the impact of climate change are derived. Impacts are expressed as functions of climate change and ‘vulnerability’. Vulnerability is measured by a series of indicators, such as per capita income, population above 65, and economic structure. Impacts are estimated for nine world regions, for the period 2000–2200, for agriculture, forestry, water resources, energy consumptio...
